The person then tells the customer that they are under investigation and must pay money or a warrant will issue.

Monday March 4, 2024*Scam Alert* - Callers Being Directed to Make Payments to Resolve Warrants at a U.S. District Courthouse The Court’s Help Desk has received calls from callers stating that they have been advised, by their local sheriff’s office, that they have an outstanding warrant and must report to a federal courthouse in the Eastern District to make a payment to resolve the warrant.
