Accepted Payment Options
The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan accepts cash, checks* or money orders, for payment of court fees, services, fine payments or restitution. Checks and money orders shall be made payable to:

In Detroit, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and VISA credit cards are accepted forms of payment. Divisional Offices in Ann Arbor, Bay City, Flint and Port Huron do not accept credit cards.
Court staff will not make change; exact amount whether in cash, check or money order must be presented.
*A fee of $45.00 will be charged for all returned checks.
