Letters submitted by counsel in support of clients in criminal cases (often referred to as “letters of support” or “character letters”) should be personally written by the individual who signs the letter.

The letters should not be entirely written by AI. Letters fully generated by AI may not be given the same weight as letters authored by an individual. Handwritten and typed letters are both equally acceptable
