Mark Randon was sworn in as a Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan in July of 2009. He received a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 1989 and a law degree from the University of Michigan in 1992.

From 2001 to 2009, he served as a state court judge for the 36th District Court in Detroit. He has also worked as a labor and employment attorney for Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn, Miller Canfield Paddock and Stone, UT Automotive (now Lear Corporation), and the Detroit Board of Education. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Federal Bar Association, and the Association of Black Judges of Michigan.
